Small things

Sometimes it's the small things that make us smile. This morning I started a new check list system with Brynn at the suggestion of some friends. It worked like a charm! I'm sure it will probably get old and we will have our days but she loved it and so did I!! She said "mom, I got ready alot faster with my check list!" and she did! It was so nice to hear her listing off her tasks for the morning and going and checking them off as they were done. Asking a few questions where needed but there was no yelling and screaming to hurry up and get out the door! Brylee was her usual silly self today. I was telling her that daddy had to take Chloe to the doggy Dr. to get her bottom fixed (she has an absess) and she says "Chloe will take her pants off! No, Chloe doesn't have pants!". The things that go through her head and then come out of her mouth!! What a trip! Then I go to put her dinner in the microwave and turn back around and there she is...up on top of the kitchen counter!! Climbed up all by herself! What a little stink pot! Proud as could be! Chloe did awesome at the vet tonight! Got her some meds to hopefully resolve the situation and lower the pain. She is such a good girl and perfect for our family! So, I have lots of small things to be thankful for today! I could list many more, but it's time for bed!!

Still striving to be a more thankful me! Seems to be helping me to focus more on happy things and not staying so focused on the little things that get me down or frustrated. I've always been pretty good at finding good in bad situations...it's not getting so hung up on the daily frustrations that I struggle with. Kinda crazy that I do better in the "bad" situations!

Health and Home and Safety

As the title says...today I am thankful for Health and Home and Safety.

Health....Today I had to go pick Brynn up from school early. The nurse had said that she had gotten sick and wasn't feeling well. Well, when I got there to pick her up I found out that she hadn't gotten sick. She had a tummy ache and was feeling very blah and tired but that was it. Thankfully, we came home and she laid down for a bit...asked for some lunch and after that was good as new. Not nearly as bad as I had anticipated from the info given to me.

Home....I was able to get quite a bit more done in my upstairs today! Still have a bit to do but definately made quite a bit of progress. I feel like my bedroom is starting to look like a nice bedroom instead of a closet that exploded. Have more to do tomorrow and hopefully can conquer some of the girls bedroom too! Maybe when it's all done I can post pics. I feel like I am finally de-cluttering the house and finding a place for things...even if it's temporary home is a bin.

Safety....As I was working on the upstairs and putting some laundry away I heard Brynn say from the other room "How did you get up there?". So, out of the closet I came to find little miss Brylee up on the top bunk!! Yup, she had climbed up there all by herself and was very proud of it!! She is one of those kids that on a daily basis I wonder how she doesn't get hurt more often. I think she has a guardian angel that works overtime!!!

The end is in sight!!

Today I am thankful for bins! Yes, I said bins! I have been working on cleaning up my upstairs for quite some time now. Unfortunately, it was just such an unorganized disaster that I felt completely overwhelmed everytime I went up to work on it. I would get a bit done and it would look like I barely made a dent! So, yesterday I got the idea to go get some plastic bins and just put a bunch of the clothes and shoes that do not have a home in them. This way, it makes the room look much neater and I can conquer one bin at a time when I can. It may not be the most logical way to do it bit I'll tell you what...I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I could see a HUGE amount of progress!! I still have quite a ways to go between our room and the girl's but it is sooooo much better than it was! And, I feel like I can work on the important areas for now. So, I am very thankful for my plastic bins that "hide" my mess for now and make it much easier to take on one at a time!

The rest of my day presented some challenges. However, those challenges are nothing compared to what some people are going through! This blog has helped me to realize that even though my days may not be a walk in the park and I may not always be able to see the good in every situation right away, when I step back and think about it...things aren't so bad! Hopefully soon I can learn to see it before having to take a step back!! I have some lessons to learn and I have a feeling that until I show some marked progress, God will keep testing me. Learning how to handle and diffuse situations with the girls without losing my cool is my constant battle. Some days are better than others.

I will continue on my quest...becoming a more thankful me :-)

A Silly Picture

Today I am simply thankful for a silly picture that brightened my day! Do I have alot of other things to be thankful for? YES! But, I'm going to keep this simple today. My morning was not going how I would have liked it to go and I was more than a bit frustrated with some things! I came into the living room to go on facebook quickly before jumping in the shower and this adorable silly picture is what I saw! It's obvious that it brightened my day! I don't get to see my Grandma nearly as much as I would like. But I am so thankful that someone who works at the home she lives in took this picture and shared it on facebook! I LOVE her adorable smile and her beautiful heart! She has such a reputation at that home and brings such joy to peoples lives! She may not know who alot of us are anymore and she may not know where she really is alot of the time but she is a happy loving beautiful person! I am proud to call her MY Grandma!! I wish that she wasn't as forgetful as she is but I am so thankful to God that even though she is, she is as happy as can be and that it doesn't seem to bother her in the least! I am so thankful for her and for a silly picture that could brighten my day!

Another day of ups and downs

In the grand scheme of things today was an ok day. It was a bit challenging at times, to say the least, but when you sit back and put it in prospective...all in all a pretty good day.

Brynn was off school today, which presents its own set of challenges. Brylee loves having her sister home, but as most siblings do...they wind up butting heads a bit from time to time. They did pretty good playing together. But, as I said yesterday, they are both struggling with their own issues. I really do have to be thankful that, even though they both can drive me up a wall at times, they both respond quite well to discipline. What is most frustrating to me is that they are both smart girls, but a bit slow at learning that they won't get away with things. Of course, who am I to talk!! I'm a bit of a slow learner at times myself!! So, while I was ready to rip my hair out several times today, I am thankful for my 2 testy ladies!! In between the trying times are lots of laughs and smiles and silly things! We got to get outside a little and enjoy the sunshine. Got to go for a yummy dinner with Nani and Papa. And, got to do a little shoe shopping.

Another thing to be thankful for today is that I got to clear up some things with a good friend of mine. We were having some miscommunication issues and finally got to set things straight. So, that felt pretty good and I was glad to get it cleared up a bit.

And, to wind up the day...I am thankful for 2 beautiful girls who very rarely give me a problem with going to bed!! When it's bed time, up they go. Of course after having to go over and say night night to Nani and Papa and a little bit of typical stalling. But after that, they head on up those stairs and prayers are said and off to sleep they go. It's so fun to sit and watch Brylee in the video monitor in bed winding down. She usually sings away for a bit before finally settling in to sleep. We don't often get an un-interrupted night of sleep, but I am blessed that it is typically just a potty run, a drink needed or to be covered back up with the blanky.

So, even in a day where I had plenty of moments that I wanted to just throw my hands up and call it quits, I can find lots to be thankful for. I am so glad to be doing this blog because it really forces me throughout the day to think about what in each situation I can be thankful for. I know at the end of the day I have to write about it :-) It is definately still very challenging and today I lost my cool plenty of times, but I am so glad that even in those aggrivating moments I can and need to find some good in it. Sometimes it may be harder than others! So here I am, still trying to be a more thankful me :-)

Thankful for the good and the not so good

Well, today I had alot to be thankful for!

The good...

I'm thankful for...
A nice morning taking Brynn and the neighbor kids to school with Brylee and some doughnuts (for the class party) in tow! The sun was shining and life was good!
A nice ride in the truck to take some things out to Papa at church that he had forgotten at home.
A little time to get a bit more cleaning done upstairs which was cut short with some better, more fun plans.
An adorable sight when I peaked out from the shower curtain to see Brylee and Chloe watching a movie on her portable DVD player in the bathroom (she has to stay in there with me...can't be trusted!)
A great ride out to meet daddy for lunch with Brylee.
A yummy lunch out :-) Rueben :-)
A peaceful ride home with a stop at a great little store I found out about at lunch.
A beautiful day to go outside and pick up a whole winter's worth of dog poop while Brylee napped. WOW, there was alot to clean up!!
A nice couple hrs of work with some great clients, while listening to the girls enjoy the mild weather out on the front deck :-)
A very yummy dinner that mom prepared...corned beef and cabbage!! (and I didn't have to cook!)
A nice trip for icecream to Dairy Queen with Nani and Papa!
And, soon...time to chill on the couch and watch some TV after both girls are in bed (one down, one to go)

The not so good...

I'm thankful for...
A testy little 2 year old, who likes to challenge every answer she doesn't like these days! She thinks if she keeps asking the same question you'll eventually say yes. Or, if she asks someone else they may say yes :-)
A moody 2nd grade girl who likes to complain about what she doesn't get to do instead of being thankful for what she does get to do!
A chance for me to better learn how to deal with these 2 lovely little ladies :-)
A battle within myself struggling to see where I fit/don't fit into certain peoples lives.

So, all in all it was a great day with a few typical challenges! But, I am thankful for each and every challenge even though they can be frustrating. I am thankful because every circustance is a chance for both them and myself to learn something. I am thankful that my girls are healthy enough to give me a hard time!! I am thankful that even though I struggle with certain relationships in life, I am so blessed to have some that I don't have to struggle with. I am blessed with a wonderful family and a wonderful best friend who has encouraged me to BE THANKFUL IN EVERYTHING!!!!

A nice heart to heart

So, this morning I was on facebook and "happened" to catch my BFF on chat. (when I say happened, I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason) Needless to say I was much in need of some encouragement and adjustments in my prospective on things. I think it's pretty funny that we haven't been able to catch each other on here for any length of time in quite awhile, but this morning...when I needed it most, she was there!! SO, she had a fabulous idea to kind of change up our blogs a bit and use them to try to focus on things that make us smile and things that we can be thankful for (which really is everything...good and bad). So, I guess this is a good way to kind of keep us accountable in focusing on the positive in things...everything! There are times that we all are going to feel like life just sucks! And, that it totally normal and human! But, I think the key is trying to find the good and happy side of things! I have learned over the past couple years in dealing with Brylee's seisures that even though that is stressful and very hard to deal with at times, it can always be worse!! Not to minimize it, because no matter what we go through it seems enough at the time! But, I guess I just mean I have been able to put it in prospective. I know that it could be SO much worse! I'm so thankful that all in all she is a happy healthy little girl and I can be so thankful that it is only something we have to deal with once in awhile. And, it is not a "serious" condition! It doesn't harm her and she will outgrow it. Anyway, I just use that as an example to say that even in that I can be thankful!!

So, I guess what brought this all about is that when I'm feeling down or not appreciated or not what I would like to be, I can be thankful anyways!! I can find good in every situation! And, I'm so glad that God has blessed me with a best friend who is helping me do that! And is helping me love myself for who I am and for who God made me :-) I don't need to measure up to anyone in this worlds standards! I need to measure up to God's standards and be a better me from the inside out! Thanks Mandy for helping me through this challenge! And for holdling me accountable in being a happier more thankful me :-)

1 Theselonians 5:16 & 18 Be joyful always; give thanks in all circustances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

To be clear on what these verses mean, we don't have to be thankful FOR everything but IN everything. So even though something bad may happen, we can be thankful for things IN the situation while not necessarily being happy FOR the situation.

So, I'm happy to be taking this challenge with you Mandy! And going to try to be joyful and thankful more each day!! I'm going to try to see the good in everything and make the best out of this life God has given us :-) Thank you for helping me and for loving me for me :-)

Bandits-Game #2

Well, tonight was the 2nd home Bandits game. For this one, Keith actually got box seats from his work so we gave our seats to someone else and too advantage of one of the perks from his company. So, befor the game we had a little photo shoot for some family pics :-)

Brynn was thoroughly enjoying her IBC root beer and we thought it was kinda funny that it looked like our 5 yr old was drinking a beer! Parent of the year award there!!

Then of course later, mommy was having an IBC and Brylee(octopus) decided that she would like to grab it and try to chew on the bottle head. A great teething tool!
The game was AWESOME!!!!!! We played Rochester Knighthawks and kicked their butts!!! (not only in the score, but seriously kicked their butts!) We won 23-6 and there were some pretty awesome fights! In one of the fights, our player threw a punch that just completely leveled the guy from Rochester. It was sweet! I know, violence violence. But it sure makes the game exciting! We even scored a goal being 2 men down! Now that's what I call an awesome team. I'm thinking the media and people in Blo need to revel in the fact that Blo does have at least one good sports team! Unfortunately, they don't seem to get quite as much recognition as we would like. We were the National champs last year, but of course, unless you knew someone who is a fan or happened to see the tiny clip on the news, you probably had no idea that Blo had a team that was National champs!! Oh well, we were there and got to see it and let me tell you, IT WAS AWESOME!! I'm hoping that, with a game like last night's, we are well on our way to another this year!!!! Well, guess I've bored you all enough with my Bandits talk. Mandy, if you are ever here in the winter (which I doubt you will wanna do) we will have to take you to a game!!! Guess that's it for now.

Nothing too excting...just life

Well, nothing too exciting to talk about. Just been living life. Actually, I haven't blogged since last week. So, I do have a little talk about. This past weekend we went to Pennsylvania for my brother's 40th b-day party. I may have said that we were going in my last blog (can't remember). The trip went REALLY well!! We left Fri morning just after Brylee's first feeding. We had to stop several times, between feedings and bathroom stops, but we made it there in plenty of time for the party and with no drama!! I was really nervous that Brylee was gonna get sick of being in her car seat. She did great!! We brought 2 DVD players for the girls, and let me tell you, they were a life saver!! We didn't hear much at all from the 3rd row...Brynn was zoned to hers! And when Brylee woke up she watched hers and loved it. Brian was very surprised and very happy that we came. He thanked us all several times for coming. Sat we got to just hang out at Brian and Jen's house, which was really nice. It was great to feel so welcome and just chill out. She made a Thanksgiving dinner for us and it was delicious!! Sun morning we left after Bry's feeding again and the way home was almost as good as the way down! Brylee got a little fussy so we pulled off and got her out for a little break. And then at the very end was wanting to be done but didn't get very fussy at all! The girls were both sooo good!! Then Mon morn Keith had to be at the airport at 5:30am to go to Alabama and came home Tues night. Fri night is the next Bandits game so hopefully we will have more pics from that! Well, I guess that's about it for now. I'll have to get the camera out more often and post some pics next time! Hopefully more tomorrow but can't promise.

It's been awhile...again.

This time I have a good excuse, at least I think I do. I've been working on another blog with my BFF Mandy. It's actually really cool!!! She woke up on New Year's morning with this new idea in her head to do a blog on her journey this year in trying to learn more about God, being the best mom you can be and having a healthier lifestyle. So, I was invited along on her journey along with a few other girls. The cool thing is, all the "girls" that joined are in totally different fases of life right now. I say that is cool because we can all really learn from each other. Some of us are more grounded in our faith, some are newer in their faith and ready to learn, some of us our moms, some of us are grandmas, and some are married with no kids. What I am noticing already is that it's great for those of us who are somewhat grounded in our faith to be on a journey with those who are newer to faith, their excitement to learn and know more is contageous and helps those of us who may have just kinda gotten comfortable where we are to now wanna learn more and study more so we can help them learn (wow, that was a mouthful...hope you got all that!). And that is why I haven't been doing too much on my personal blog lately. I've been postin daily devotions on the new blog page and sometimes it's enough to get that on there. This week was a bit busy and I'm hoping now that the holidays are over and this week is almost over I will be able to get it together and post on both blogs most of the time.

Well, I have a busy weekend ahead of me so I may not be able to post until Sunday. Guess that's it for now. Gotta get ready for the day.

Bandits 09 season begins!!!

Well, tonight was the first game of the 2009 Bandits season. We got our season tickets again this year. As you can see, we get all decked out for the games. If you have ever been to a game, you know that people go all out to get decked out. We are mild compared to some of the fans! It really is a fun game to watch and the players are awesome! For those of you who may not know, they were National champs last year!!! WOOHOO!!! So, they hung the flag tonight at the Arena before the game! It was really cool! Hopefully they will do as well this year!! Anyway, we won tonight!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Let's go Bandits!!

2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I guess since I'm actually still pretty wide awake I will start my reflections on the past year. If I start to get too sleepy, I'll have to finish tomorrow. So, I posted some pics and decided I will do the first half of the year now and finish the 2nd half later. The first picture shows probably the most exciting thing we were waiting for this year...our precious little Brylee (in my tummy). The next is the fam in Florida on our wonderful vacation to visit my BFF Mandy. Can't wait to get a new fam picture in Fl with Brylee(not in my tummy)! The next pic is of all of us at the Bandits National Championship victory game!!! We got season tickets last year to the Bandits for the first time and what a treat that was!! National Champs!!!! Brylee was at every game with us...LOL! Of course the next group of pics is the great arrival of little Bry girl. The first few we are waiting...patiently?? Then she finally arrived! What a precious little bundle of joy she is! Brynn, as you can see from the pic, is such a proud and loving big sister!!! Couldn't ask for better!! Then we have our very first family picture in the special care nursery, waiting for Brylee to get the clear to come down with us! She was such a strong little girl and only had to be up there for not even 24hrs at one month early. And of course we wouldn't miss the 4th of July celebration with our adopted family...haha! Look forward to it every year! Brynn was there at one week old and now Brylee was there at 3 weeks old. Gotta start the traditions young!! So, that is a brief summary of the first half of our year. So many good times I can't go into detail but this helps to hilight some of the most noteworthy times. Of course we don't want any pics to show the bad times...haha. Although I may have a good one (or 2) of Brynn in the 2nd half of the year. I'll see what I can find :-) So, the first half was spent waiting for our baby girl and the 2nd half was spent enjoying her. More tomorrow to show that side of the story :-) Sooo thankful for another year gone by and for the many joys and hard times (they are what make us stronger and better as people, even though it doesn't seem it at the time!) Thank you to God for all the many blessings you have given us this year and the strength to handle the many challenges! It is soooo good to know that our lives are in your hands!

A visit with friends

Well, I'm writing my blog for yesterday since I'm sure I will have plenty to write later for my reflections on the last year. Yesterday I worked for a bit in the morning and then we (Brynn and I) got to go to Kidz Play to meet up with some friends that moved away and are back in town for a visit. Maria and the girls planned to meet up with all their friends to play so they could visit with everyone since they are only in for a couple days. We will hopefully get to see them tomorrow for coffee or lunch before they head home. We were supposed to meet up with them today but Brynn woke up this morning with another touch of pink eye! Thank God we still have the drops from a week and a half ago when she had it. So, we started the drops again and hopefully it will go away quickly! Today, I'm gonna make some cutouts and snowball cookies to take to our church game night tonight. Oh, and we may have some company later...Sam (who I went to school with in Syr) is gonna be in Blo today visiting some inlaw family and may stop over for a visit. That would be nice! My mom and his mom are best friends, so I'm sure she would love to see him! It is a beautiful snowy day out, and I mean that! I love a fresh coat of snow...it's soooo pretty!!! Well, guess that's it for now. Hopefully I will find the time either later today or tomorrow morning to do some reflecting on the past year. So, more later or tomorrow :-)

Once again....waaaay too much to catch up!!!

Well, once again I have been a total slacker! It has been so busy with the holidays I just haven't taken the time to sit down and do this. I decided to bake this year, which I don't normally do, because I absolutely love my sis in laws cutouts and wasn't gonna see her this year to get any. So, that meant if I wanted any, I had to make my own. It was alot of fun but def hard on the back and time consuming! So, needless to say, I did't get much blogging done! We had a nice Christmas. It wasn't too crazy, which was nice. We went to Keith's parent's on Christmas Eve day and then out to dinner with my parents and the A's from church to Outback at night. It was delicious! Christmas day we opened presents with my parents in the morning and they headed off to Hal and Gail's for the day. We stayed home til about 3:30 and then headed over to Keith's parents before going to his cousin's house. That was alot of fun! They (his cousins) bought and totally remodelled his grandma's house. WOW, is it ever beautiful!!! What a difference! You would never know it's the same house. Anyway, nothin too exciting lately. We had quite the wind storm yesterday and were without power for about 9hrs (although we have a generator). Church was cancelled because they were without power as well. So, we had a bunch of people over for a gathering at our house and had a little feast. We were supposed to have a pot luck dinner so they brought their dishes and we had ours for a nice pot luck lunch at home. So, now we are looking forward to a new year. Hopefully it will be a good one! This past year definately had it's joys along with it's share of difficult times. I'll wait to reflect til either New Year's Eve or Day. I'll try to take some time and post pics and reflect :-) And hopefully now I can keep up with this. I will try Mandy :-) Guess that's it for today. More tomorrow....hopefully!

Needing prayers for a friend

Well, I once again got the lecture from Mandy...LOL. Not really a lecture but the comment...it's been ?? days since your last blog. She keeps me accountable :-) I don't have any pics from today and am so far behind again that I can't catch up from the week past. One of the days hilights...Brynn got to wear PJs to school today. Once of the kids in her class's father came in to read them the Polar Express. Then in the afternoon they got to watch the movie. My mom, Brylee and I got some more Christmas shopping done. I wanted to finish today but of course have a few little things to get. I would really like to be done by Fri at the latest! Now it's all the wrapping to do! Ugggg!

Now, on to the reason for my title today. Not to put a damper on everyone's Christmas cheer, but one of my customers/friends needs our prayer along with her mother! My customer Cathy Rondinelli's mother Linda had an brain aneurysm on Sun morning about 3am. She is in a coma right now. Apparently it was to the back lobe of her brain which means it did some damage to her brain stem. They are draining fluid and hoping that when some of the pressure is relieved and the bruising of the brain stem heals that she will come around a bit. They have no idea at this point what her prognosas is. She is responding to lower body pain stimulation but no upper body at this point. I just can't imagine what the family is going through, esp at this time of year. It's obviously never a good time but seems as though it is a bit worse when it's around the holidays. So, please pray for Cathy and her family and her mom Linda. I'm sooo sad for what they are going through! Wish I could take some of the pain and concern away!

Again, sorry to put a damper on things, but sometimes it helps us put our lives into prospective. I know what we deal with is enough for us right now and seems so challenging and hard at times, but it is good, at times, to be able to think...wow, it could be so much worse. I guess it just should make us enjoy every moment we have with our families because you never know when your world could be turned upside down. God has a plan for all of us, we just don't know what it is. (aren't you glad you asked me to blog Mandy! haha I've probably totally brought you down...sorry!) I just really would like to get as many people as I can praying for these people. They are such wonderful people.

Ok, enough sad stuff. On a happier note, tomorrow is Brynn's Christmas party at school and I get to help out. I'm gonna try to remember my camera so I can post pics tomorrow night on my blog and facebook. I'm excited, it should be fun! Hope you are all surviving the craziness of the Christmas season! Guess that's it for now. More tomorrow, hopefully :-)

Another couple days gone by!

Well, there really isn't too much exctiting to report from the last couple days. Just kinda living life. Tonight we went and got our family pics done. They came out really cute...as usual! Brynn has off school tomorrow and Fri. for parent teacher conferences. We go for ours tomorrow night. I can't wait to see how she is doing in kindergarten. The aid from her classroom said she has been great. They giver her more responsibility than the other kids in the room because she is such a good helper! She said they call her the little teacher, which doesn't surprise me!! Well, I'm very tired and about to fall asleep so I think I'm gonna head off to bed. More hopefully tomorrow!

Great Day....Bad Night!

Well, today we went over to Keith's parent's after church to celebrate Jon's 30th birthday. It's technically not until the 15th but we had to celebrate today. So, this is a pic of Jon with his gift/gifts from us. We decided that it would be fun to give Jon 30 different things and of each dif thing give him 30 of it. We do have pics of him opening all 30 items but that would take up way too much space and bore you. Some of the things we did were....30 squares of toilet paper, paper clips, tacks, m&ms, skittles, gummy worms, lots of dif types of candy, nails, pencils, markers, mini packs of tissues, happy birthdays (cut out 30 "happy birthdays" from a roll of party crepe paper) and many other things. They were all numbered so he had to open them in order (just for something fun to do). The last gift to open was 30 $1 bills all rolled individually and rubber banded.

So, it was a fun day celebrating Jon getting old! He really enjoyed his gift which made it well worth the time and effort put in to it. It was fun to do!!

Tonight, on the other hand! I have had better. Little Miss Brynn woke up around 11:15 with mess in her pants. Of course there was lots of drama with that because her bottom hurt. So, you can guess what happened. Brylee woke up!! Well, then she thought it was play time. Then she got mad cause we put saline drops in her nose for her stuffy nose. So, it was fun getting her back to bed! Of course this all went down in a matter of about a half hour but you know how it is when you are dealing with a situation...it seems like an eternity!! I wanted to ring Brynn's neck! If they only knew the extent of the drama they create! They have no idea!! Of course now, 10 mins later, it really doesn't seem that bad, and probably wasn't. It seemed like it at the time though! Oh well, now they are quiet as can be, sleeping away. When you look at them sleeping, they look so sweet and innocent and you almost forget the bad things....almost :-)

I guess that's about it for our exciting day. Now it's time for bed for me too! Gotta get rested up so I can deal with any drama that may come tomorrow. Don't do well on not much sleep. My patience is bad enough with sleep, it's really bad with not much sleep! So, off to bed I go. More tomorrow.

Two Fun Nights

Friday night we had alot of fun. We had a game night at church for the young adults. It was a good time! We got pizza and wings and just hung out for a bit and then played some games. We played Mad Gab, which is one of my favorites, and some people played the Wii on the big screen. Some played Monopoly, the new version. We left before some of the others since we needed to get the girls home to bed. It was really nice to laugh and have fun!

Tonight, well kinda last night (it's after midnight), we went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Keith, my dad and I went. My mom watched the girls. We got 3 tickets from Keith's work to sit in the box for the show. It was absolutely incredible!! Definately hope to go again next year!!

I guess my mom had an interesting night while we were out. Brylee kept scratching her neck so she decided to clip her nails. Well, I guess she cut the end of Brylee's thumb on accident. Of course Brylee was crying. Then Brynn started in. She apparently went and got the bandaids and told my mom to put one on her. My mom said she didn't need one. Brynn then says, "We need to take her to the hospital. She is the youngest member of our family and you cut her!" She is sooo hilarious!! Then apparently my mom finally got Brylee to stay asleep in her pack-n-play and went over to take her meds. Well, Brynn poked her finger on what she called a pin and started screaming. Well, you can guess what happened. Brylee woke up! Poor mom!! What a zoo! Oh well, she was able to laugh about it.

Nothing too exciting

Well, once again, no pics for today. I know I'm slacking a bit in that area but at least I'm doing my blog. Really, there isn't too much exciting to say today. I did a little shopping this morning for Brylee. I had some rewards money and coupons so I was able to get her 6 outfits for around $18! I guess that, in and of itself, is exciting. Then I had to work for a bit, pick Brynn up from school and work for a bit more. My brother Roger and his fam stopped in for a bit on their way home from Maine. I didn't get to see too much of them cause I was working. Brynn got to play with Becca and Nicole a bit so she was excited. Tonight I pretty much crashed out on the couch and just woke up. I figured I better do my blog before heading up to bed so I don't get out of the habit yet again. So, off to bed I go! As I said, nothing too exciting. More tomorrow.
